What do we do?
Clinical neuropsychology is the study of brain and behaviour relationships. We specialize in providing comprehensive neuropsychological assessments of children, adolescents, and adults who want a detailed understanding of their cognitive functioning (such as attention, memory, visual-perception, processing speed, and decision-making). We are happy to see you in our clinics in Metro Vancouver, the Fraser Valley, and Edmonton, or online throughout the rest of British Columbia and Alberta.
People seeking our services may have:
a concussion
a brain injury or stroke
developmental issues, such as autism, ADHD, or learning difficulties
dementia, such as Alzheimer’s or vascular dementia
complex medical issues that can affect functioning, such as pain, breathing difficulties, or diabetes
a recent change in cognitive functioning
emotional issues, such as depression or anxiety
medical-legal issues / in need of an Independent Medical Examination (IME)
Benefits of a neuropsychological assessment include:
clarifying the strengths and challenges in your thinking ability
clarifying treatment options to support everyday functioning
confirming a diagnosis
monitoring change over time, such as how you respond to medical intervention
receiving documentation for legal, educational, or financial purposes
We also provide cognitive rehabilitation and treatment to help support functioning after concussion or brain injury.
